Welcome to Amaroo Estate

Amaroo Estate is a residential housing estate established in 2006 by a local family who are passionate about creating a secure and attractive environment focused on community, the beautification of the area and Mareeba Shire.

Over the years Amaroo Estate has continued to grow, with the completion of its most recent stage “Stage 12 – Karobean Drive & Wandara Court”. Planning of Stage 13 is underway with construction expected to start in early 2023. This year, there has been some very exciting news for the Amaroo community with the Mareeba Shire Council approving and committing to build the “Mareeba East Destination Park” which is to be located at Amaroo, corner of Karobean Drive & Hastie Road. Stage 1 is expected to be completed by mid-2023 and will include interactive play equipment, seating, tables, picnic shelter and lighting. With these exciting things in the pipeline, the Amaroo community will continue to grow and strive to create the family & community focused area that hundreds of families have already called home.

Amaroo Estate is located only 55 minutes from Cairns City, International & Domestic Airports and just next door to all the incredible features Mareeba and the Tablelands has to offer.
